It has been awhile since I posted on here. I realized recently how much I miss posting and how much I miss looking back at old posts. As we approach the 3rd birthday, Mady is saying and doing things everyday that make me smile, laugh, cry and want to pull my hair out and I thought you could enjoy in these moments too. Enjoy these more recent pics.
It's a Mady World...we all just play in it!
A collection of all things Mady... to watch her grow and share her adorable Madyisms.

Happy Easter
Here are a few pics from our Easter. We started the day at 7am with Mady's Easter basket.

There was a garden theme to the basket this year. Mady likes to help me garden, so I thought I would get her some of her own tools.

Despite all the fun things in the Easter basket she is still preoccupied by the Wiggles. We have to have them on tv at just about all times. Daddy and Brutus are fans too!

Bunny Breakfast and Egg Hunt
We took mady to meet the Easter Bunny and her first Easter Egg hunt at Wildlife Prairie Park. She was very interested in the Easter Bunny but didn't want to get that close. She wanted to stand about 2 feet from him and just stare. Any time we let her down, she would run straight to the Bunny. She got in a lot of other people's Easter Bunny pictures!

All dressed and ready to go.

Not too close Daddy!

Mady and Mommy's Day at the Zoo
On Good Friday, I took the day off and Mady and I went to the zoo. She is really into animals right now, so I thought she would really like it...and she did. Many of the more exotic animals were labeled piggies, moo cows and puppies and there was a lot of growling coming out of her when we were around the lions and tigers. I think the giraffes were her favorite of the day. I had to drag her away from the exhibit.
Sitting like a big girl and eating lunch. I had to take pictures of this because Rusty would have never believed that she sat so good to eat. She wasn't strapped down or anything. She did not get up until she was done with her cookie. It was a miracle!

St. Paddy's Day
Mady made a great hat at the sitter's on St Paddy's Day. She was very proud of it and wanted to wear it while she ate her very healthy dinner that night. She was kind of a scrubby little leprechaun. By her dirtiness it looks like they played outside that day at the sitter's and who knows how she got the mark on her face. She is always running into something.

Where has time gone?!?!
I logged on our blog tonight to remind myself of the last post I made....I didn't realize it had been 6 weeks since I posted anything! Time flies when you are having fun, I guess. This spring has been full of ups and downs, but we are really enjoying Mady and everything that is "new" to her. Below are some pictures I took before Mady's date with Uncle Joelly. They went and got pizza one night, so Rusty and I could go out together. Mady was all dressed up and ready to go and of course, I couldn't resist a few pictures. Enjoy and I promise I will be posting more, soon!

The Fairy Tea
Today we went to the Fairy Tea hosted by the Junior League. Mady looked adorable in her little fairy outfit. She had a great time watching all the other little fairies run around. She loved the lunch which started with PB & J and ended with pink cupcakes. There was dancing, storytelling and a fairy fashion show. Lots to keep her entertained. She was worn out when it was finally time to leave and I was probably just as tired. It is exhausting trying to catch a runaway fairy when she doesn't want to be caught!
